This machine belongs to the Data Reduction and Analysis Group. It is located in Soleil main building - RGI1/145. It is accessible from the 'REL' (Beam-lines, IP 195.221.10.56) https://data-analysis.synchrotron-soleil.fr as well as from the ReS (offices), the RCL (BL control), the VPN, the SOLEIL wifi, RAS/NoMachine, and as well directly from outside SOLEIL.
We currently provide the following services:

desktop (DARTS) | On-demand remote desktop for data
treatment. Identify with your SUNset LDAP/EXP ID. You
can specify your needs (CPU, memory, GPU ...). A
virtual machine will be created, with pre-installed
software. The machines have a limited life-time (e.g. up to 4 days). Our Remote Desktop documentation is available here (on-site). |

notebook (no com accounts) | Jupyter
Notebook with the following kernels (click on New
button in the top right once logged-in): Look at these kernel links for more information and usage examples. Our Jupyter documentation is available here (on-site). Identify into JupyterHub with your LDAP EXP ID (no com accounts). A 'ruche' item in your home area allows to reach experimental data with your credentials. |

Material modeling | Estimate electronic and phonon dispersions via DFT/ab-inito, from e.g. a CIF file. Usually requires 2-10 minutes. Data sets are available at previous calculations. |
